Take a few minutes and read Proverbs 7. Then Take 2 minutes to watch this video! Someday's this is DEFINITELY easier said than done... but to put in perspective about the "worldy" women out there that may be on the prowl for married men, possibly yours... and to also think about how you treated your husband when you were dating and how you treat him now... GOOD things to think about! Let today start your new journey of trying your best to be a better wife and help meet to your husband and to give him praise for the things he DESERVES to be praised about!

Let's strive to be our husbands "help-meet" in every possible way!

Genesis 2:18 (The Lord CREATED us to be our husbands help-meet...)
Oh those adulterous women. One of the hardest people to pray for, for me, ever. I have never understood the need to go after someone who is married. I guess the appeal of getting something you shoulnd't be able to. The excitment. The DEVIL. I feel as though both husband and wife should try to compliment one another everyday and tell each other how they are appreciated (remembering that ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS). I tell Derik I am proud of him. Thats my little thing with him. Just random times of the day I tell him I am proud of him. They notice. And you can tell it makes them feel important. We as wives should lift our husbands up and give them the confidence they need to stand out in the world as Christian. Good lesson today Linds! Thanks!
ReplyDeletejust a little shout out here. i recently finished a Bible study with my church based on the book "For Women Only." it focuses a lot on this. if you haven't read that book, you should. every married Christian lady should read it. it was so challenging and i loved it. =)
ReplyDeleteI know, Beth! It's so rough living in the world we do... the Devil is RIGHT! Argggh! Saying "I'm proud of you" to our Husbands is GREAT... They need that pat on the back saying "you're doing a good job, honey..." ... Thanks so much for your input Beth! ;-) Praying for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Veronica! I would love to read it! I'll check into it! :-)
