{ HEAVEN or HELL | What Is Your Eternity? }

Let's get down to the nitty gritty, shall we?

I'm concerned for your eternity ...
I'm concerned that you believe in God  ...
In His Son, Jesus ...
In His death & resurrection ...

Do you know where you will be after you die?
Do you believe there is a Heaven & a Hell?

Do you believe in God's Word?
That it is infallible?
That it is what we should live by?

Are you saved - a believer - a christian?

Do you realize you CANNOT get to Heaven *by works*?
Do you realize you are a sinner - we all are sinners ...

After you die (& we all will unless taken up in the rapture) ... you will either be in immediate comfort (Heaven) or in immediate torment (Hell) ...

If you had the choice, what would you choose?

Guess what - you DO have the choice ....

.... the good part of all of this?

All it takes is faith ....

All you have to do is believe, trust & have faith that God sent His Son, Jesus - to die on the cross for your sins so that one day you could be in Heaven rather than Hell ......

{What The Bible Says ....}

Mark 11:22
“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”

1 Corinthians 2:5
“That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

Galatians 2:20
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

Psalm 13:5
“But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.”

Psalm 85:7
“Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.”

Ephesians 1:13
“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”

Be sure you know you're going to Heaven.

#1 Realize that we are all sinners:

Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

#2 Next, you must know that because of sin there must be a price paid:

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

 #3 Know that this price can be paid by you with an eternity in Hell, or you can accept the price that Jesus paid for your sin:

Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

#4 Accept Jesus’ payment for your sin simply call on His name and ask Him to forgive your sins and save you:

Romans 10:9-13 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. [12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. [13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

#5 If you are ready to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, take time right now to pray, confessing your sin and asking Him to come into your heart and save you. When you accept Jesus, He is faithful to do what He said He would - He forgives you and saves you.

1 John 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

Did you accept Christ? Did you make the most important decision in your life?
I'd love to hear about it & talk more with you!

{Garbage In - Garbage Out}

Although I'm very aware that this blog post will not be appealing to all the eyes that may read it - The Lord has laid it on my heart to press on & write it anyhow. So, I'm praying that those who may be offended by my post can just take it as The Lord pricking {convicting} their heart {as He did mine} rather than taking offense & being angry at the words below...

Garbage In - Garbage Out ....

Most of us have heard this saying many times. A lot of the time - as children - it comes from our parents or guardian who have raised us.

What about now - as adults? Did we really take that saying in as a child? Probably not to heart ... are you teaching this to your children now? Are you practicing what you preach?

Garbage In - Garbage Out .... Hmmmm ....

If The Lord (in flesh) decided to knock on your door this evening after you came home from work .... you go to the door to see who it is, look through the peep hole and realize it is your Heavenly Father .... would you panic? Would your heart drop? Would you feel the need to hide something? A wine bottle opener? The beer in the fridge - in case He wanted something cold to drink? Something recorded on DVR - in case He got a hold of the remote? Would you hide a magazine or book that had been sitting out? A not so modest outfit you wore last night? A receipt from a bar you went to? Etc. Etc. Etc.

What would make you panic? What would you not want Him to see?

The funny thing is - we all probably have at least one thing. I know I do. But, the fact is .... He is with us now - He knows all, sees all, hears all, etc. - why are we allowing those things {of the world} to be in our homes anyways? He knows they are there without physically being in your home and looking ......................

If He showed up (physically) at the movie theatre to sit by you at the last movie you went to see - would you shutter to have him watch the things you were watching? Would you leave because of the things He might see next?

Our eyes take in images that our minds cannot erase. As do our ears take in things we choose to listen to that cannot be unheard....

{Philippians 4:8}
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things"

What are our standards for ourselves? What are they for our children? What are we allowing them to see and hear? What standards are we setting for them, for their future choices that they will make on their own?

{Proverbs 22:6}
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

If something is on your mind right now that you are thinking of because of what you've just read ... let it go ... if you wondering whether it is worldly or not ... let it go ... if you are convicted about something you are drinking, reading, watching, listening to ... LET IT GO ...

{Romans 12:2}
"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

{Matthew 5:14}
"Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid."

Give the worldly things to God... we should be the LIGHT of the world... set apart from the things of this world...

Challenging you {as I'm challenging myself} to be set apart from this world, to shine for our Heavenly Father & be the light He tells us to be. Not just today, but until we meet Him.

{The Danger Of "Pointing Fingers"}

{Matthew 7:1-6}

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Think of a time when you blamed someone for something and then discovered you were the one to blame?

Ask God to reveal any specks, splinters, or “ginormous” planks in your own eye that you might be overlooking.

Take a second and ask The Lord to help us with those times that we are too quick to blame someone else for our mistakes. Ask Him to Help you to always examine your own heart and let HIM take care of the rest.

{ P E A C E | Do You Have It? }

This was my devotion for this morning... something I needed to hear. The reassurance of the peace (fruit of the Spirit) that God has given us is encouraging during such rough times in life... Thank you, Lord for your promise.

 The last verse is my favorite.

John 16:25-33

25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

{Why Me?}

Have you ever had the feeling that you are always at the receiving end of bad things? Ever been so frustrated that you simply wanted to scream, “Why ME?” Maybe the problem is not that things are going bad but that they just don’t seem to be going right! You are not paranoid but sometimes you are quite sure that you can hear the devil speaking to you: “You are healed, are you? So, why are you still in so much pain? God should provide your needs but you can barely make ends meet!

    Let's not forget this verse....

    Hebrews 13:5
    Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee

    If we are truly thinking about the reality of the "pain" and "tribulations" we go through in life... God has a plan for those tribulations, He knew you were going to go through the struggles you may be going through right now... But, isn't there always something or someone that has is much worse than we do?

    *Count your blessings, name them one by one....*

I think the book of Job is such a picture of the average Christians life. We live our lives doing what we know is right and then because we are in the world, we are subject to the side effects of sin. Those being sickness, financial ruin, etc... Some of these things are out of our control - such as unexpected health issues. Most of the time, it just happens. But it is all in our attitude and how we choose to walk it out
{By faith or by fear...}
Proverbs 3:5-6
"T
rust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
By faith keeping focused that our Heavenly Father is leading us, even in the unknown areas... HE desires to lead us! Or by fear, allowing us to be paralyzed by or circumstances and not moving at all. The grand thing is, that in the "big picture" of life - It won't even matter when we get to Heaven what has happened here. That is when we will finally be in perfect health, no more financial worries and no more grief, pain or fear! It's all about enduring, just like Job did and hanging in there, even when it seems to be the end, there's always a happy ending when Jesus is involved. But, not just settling at enduring the hard times - striving to have that faith we should have & live out the testimony we should while here on this "sick" earth....
So, determine in your heart right now to live out your life in FAITH, with faith - everything - trusting in our Saviour & knowing He will provide and He desires for us to place our burdens on Him...
Question is - are you walking with Him? Do you have that relationship to go to Christ and just pour out your heart, your desires, your needs?
He already knows what they are....
But - we must be willing to have the relationship.
Don't be a "why me" ....
Be thankful, have faith & count your blessings ....
Psalm 55:22

Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

{Your Words, Your Conversations}

Are the words coming out of your mouth glorifying God?

What about the conversations with your spouse? Your friends? Your kids? What you say on Facebook? Through Texting? Would you say and have the conversations you're having if He was PHYSICALLY next to you?

{Armour Of God}

God Is Providing His Armour That We Need So Desperately...
Are We Willing To Put It On?
